Crisis? What Crisis!

The UK faces great distress as Winter comes to stay, Finances in an awful mess and getting worse each day. With those in power up the creek, divided come what may, And while such times aren't that unique, it's truly time to pray! For reasons known to God alone, we're really in a bind, And though He sits upon His Throne, He truly loves Mankind. To think that He allows free will to wander like the blind, And lets such sorrows overspill, that truly blows my mind! Let's not give up on praying now, the Good News we must tell, With revelation shared somehow, not something we should sell. So we must pray as Jesus would, for He sees all as well, Let Him see saints still doing good, still saving souls from Hell. Denis Martindale. Friday, the 2nd of September 2022.
