Romance and compassion go hand-in-hand,
United in true love,
And every day I shall understand,
Such wisdom well enough.
Consideration can grow within
Each lover's heart and mind,
If never, ever to give in,
But seeking to be kind.
God's loving-kindness will show the way,
If blessings we would count,
And with even more if we would pray,
Yet in no small amount.
God made the stars that will shine above,
With each star set in place,
Yet it's here, on Earth, we learn to love,
Through God's amazing grace.
It lives in me. And it lives in you.
And true love bears its name.
A faithful friend, when good friends are few,
With favours still to claim.
Good feelings can come, then stay, and grow,
Yet only if we decide.
Yours are the feelings I wish to know,
For mine, I cannot hide!
