Just Do It!

Just do it! Jesus said to me! I wondered if I could. Just do it! Yet should I agree? Was I that great or good? Yet Jesus made the future clear, so that there was no doubt, And promised that He would stay near and He would help me out. While all the training done before prepared me for this task, I felt the need to pray for more, and so I dared to ask. If there's more wisdom You could give, then don't hold back a thing! You gave me life that I may live to serve You as my King! And all at once I felt such love, and with my faith renewed, Christ told me I had grace enough and then my life reviewed. Remember when you first believed? When you wept at the Cross? That was the day My grace received and you loved Me because Your faith was like a mustard, and you were Spirit-led! And so today, if you've agreed, JUST DO IT! YES, I said! Denis Martindale. August 2022. The Gospel poem is about the times we get told what to do and we're expected to do it. We decide to trust and obey, or to dither and delay. Over time, we get better at the first part! The Gospel poem got shared on Revelation TV's R-Mornings show on the 5th of August 2022. The title refers to what Jesus said to Howard Conder in guiding him in what to do and that Howard agreed and then told the viewers about this earlier this week.
