Look Sharp!

My brother sometimes wore a suit, like my Dad used to do, And both of them looked quite astute, sometimes I wore one, too. Yet many years have come and gone, and as I rarely roam, There's not one suit that I still own that suits me while at home. Yet I still pray and I still preach, and write about the Lord, He never wore a suit to teach, yet He was still adored. I buy my stuff on eBay, without one suit in mind, And yet I'm asking here today if some suit I should find. A fancy shirt, a fancy tie, a gold watch and a ring, A jet black pair of shoes to try, more parcels home to bring. Would Jesus recognise the change? Or bid me humble be? Would neighbours look at me quite strange all dressed up making tea? Lord, must I really dress up glam? In search of more and more? I think I'll stay the way I am, donating to the poor.
