Did you know you're somewhat special?
Has that occurred to you?
As if a shining miracle,
Because of all you do?
A beacon glowing on a hill,
A star for all to see.
On meeting you, I get a thrill.
Perhaps that's only me?
I feel warmer and not colder,
Each time that you draw near,
With your hand upon my shoulder,
When you whisper in my ear.
Perhaps true love has come at last!
Oh, my! My heart's sure beating fast!
