Poets plug their latest poetry books On Facebook. It's all about flawed egos Not the beauty of the written word. 'Look At me! ' seems to be the message. The flow Of constant infotainment is a cause For concern, as is the palaver, that Accompanies it. There should be a law Against this kind of crap! Now we have hacks Instead of seasoned journalists. Prophets Have been replaced by idols and icons: Most of whom are so easy to forget Is life still worth living under the sun? I hope and pray for a change in the scheme Of things. Alas, it seems like a pipe dream.
