Keep them in line - they must take their pills
Religiously. Keep these malleable objects,
Of Freud's apocryphal vision,
Constantly active, constantly busy.
Keep them tied to the womb; don't let them be born.
Deter them from thinking strange thoughts.
Keep them drawing aimlessly with crayons,
And cooking barely edible cakes & biscuits.
Please remember, that for some, flower arranging
Entails the very meaning of existence.
Timetables, with a vast array of tasks,
Produce obedient dummies;
And with clockwork precision
Dissolve a fuzzy kind of freedom.
