Bees-Lament

From dawn to dusk, we toil so hard, And flit from flow’r to flow’r, gathering nectar; Men steal the honey to make big money; There’s hardly any left in the hive! At break of dawn, we scour the earth, As sun’s rays show new flowery birth; And in the process, we pollinate flowers, Carrying the pollen on our hairy legs! Yet, men aren’t content, with our job unpaid; But destroy hives, for honey and wax! We build our hives indeed quite high, So that we see the flowery smiles at day-break; But men have built micro-wave towers, Impairing our quest for flowery nectar! We work for hours, without much rest, And keep our race alive in our base; But man destroys our hives with ease, For honey and the paraffin-wax! God made the bees most naturally; Men ruin earth’s ecology; With lesser food, both man and bee Will starve to death!
