Do Early Birds Really Catch The Worm?

A morn has dawned with sun-rays peeping through The leafy inter-woven tree-spaces; And little birds come chirping, hopping fast, In search of worms and insects, on the ground. One little bird does find a little worm! A bigger bird spots this and snatches it; It beaks the little bird upon its head, And flies away to perch on tree-branch nigh. Do early birds really catch the worm? It isn't the rule, for rivalry exists; The mighty rule the world and rob the weak; It isn't a world of fairness for earthlings!
