On The Tongue

A tongue that lies,
A tongue that's tied,
A tongue that's bald -
Are things not nice!
A tongue-less man,
‘long-tongued' woman,
A tongue bitten -
Are lives smitten!
A tongue that's small,
A tongue that's big,
A tongue that bleeds -
No human needs!
A tongue is prime
To taste a lime;
With words on time,
Begins to rhyme!
