O God, not that you do not know; But still, you permit many things; You only know the purpose, Lord; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The world has gone topsy-turvy; Your wisdom Lord is infinite; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; Innocents are victims of harm; Such heinous crimes happen each day; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The men who rule are God-chosen; The devils guide them to ruin; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The rapes, abortions look scary; Weapons of war are destructive; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; Terrorism is on the rise; Insecurity prevails on earth; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; Idolatry is on the rise; God-believers suffer the most; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The mortal sins are more grievous; Man thinks his strength is good enough; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The battered earth has souls much bruised; The poor have none to change their plight; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The common man can't simply live; All sense of values seems all lost; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; Ailments emerge without a cure; Ill-gotten wealth cannot give health; Can I ever query my God? O God, not that you do not know; The righteous wish to earlier die; The wrath and curse of God seems near; Can I ever query my God? Copyright by Dr John Celes 29-07-2014
