O Prince of peace, Lord Jesus Christ!
The modern world has hatred much;
The love of neighbor has come down;
Do heal the minds and hearts of men.
Almighty God who made all things;
The world has turned unjust, unfair;
More heinous crimes increase each day;
Religions now divide people.
O Holy Spirit, break all walls!
Send down to earth your angels fast;
Arrest the rampage devil-made;
Restore the peace, all humans need.
O God of heaven, universe!
Remove the hatred from our hearts;
Afill all souls with love divine;
Rain upon earth, Your reign of peace!
Amen.
