In Life, Compassion is what people want, But seldom do they like with men to share; Their hearts grow thick-skinned akin Elephant; To render kindness to others, don't care. To show a little bit of kindness, Oh, Won't cost a dime or waste one's precious time; With newer leaves, twigs -stronger is the bough; Compassion- Virtue turns one's life sublime. Yet, kind words cost no more than unkind ones; A helping hand won't measure time or wealth; One never knows when one in life has 'downs'; Compassion shown is good for body's health. When one can show compassion to all beasts, Why not to poor, down-trodden and diseased?
