There are not many
ways in the earthly sense,
not many powerful ones,
not many nobles,
but God chose the foolish
in the world to put
the wise to shame,
and the weak in the
world chose God
to shame the strong.
God chose what is low
in the world and what is
despised and nothing.
to destroy the pride
of those who brag
that 'we are something'.
No one shallboast or brag.
Whoever wants to boast,
let him or her
boastof God
who is active in them.
