Isaiah tells us
that the coming
'Day of the Lord'
is cruel, and
that it is coming
with God's
fury and
burning anger.
He says it
will make
the land a
desolation
and that the
Lord will
exterminate
its sinners
from the earth.
(Ref. to Amos 9: 11)
