After many years of
silence from the Lord,
John the Baptist was
the prophetic voice
crying in the wilderness,
'prepare ye the way of the Lord".
The Mosaic Law;
the feasts of the Lord;
the Aaronic priesthood;
the sacrificial offering;
the wilderness Tabernacle
and Solomonic Temple
were all signposts that
pointed the people to Jesus.
