Various biblical
writers describe
it as a day of thick
darkness, a day
of trouble and distress,
a day of waste
and desolation,
a day of darkness
and gloominess,
a day of clouds
and thick darkness,
when there will be
destruction from
the Almighty.
(Ref. to Amos 9: 11)
