We already know
that God is always
present within us.
We live, move,
and have our
being in Him.
But while we try
during the time
of prayer to
become more
and more aware
of this great truth,
our consciousness
of it gradually
fades away
in the course
of our daily
occupations.
Then we are often
surprised to find
ourselves acting
as if God were
no longer
present within us.
