From a theological
perspective, the
foundation of a
proper understanding
of beauty and
aesthetics must
be related to
the God of beauty.
The ways in which
beauty provides
glimpses of the
transcendence
of God not only
makes one aware
of Him, but also
prompts aesthetic
longings drawing
humanity toward God.
