St. John says, "God is love".
It does not mean, God
is reducible to feelings
or even to the greatest
virtue of selfless love.
"God is all-powerful, ".
It does not mean merely
that God is stronger
than any other person.
With these terms we are
capturing, with more
or less accuracy,
aspects of God's
indescribable love,
power, and greatness.
