Ungodly men,
their unbelief,
andtheir own
hatred of the plan
of God and the
slaughter of their
Messiah, must have
prompted these men.
But when Stephen said,
" Behold, I see the
heavens open
and the Son of Man
standing on the right
hand of God, "
they could stand
it no longer.
These hate-filled
men collectively
rushed at Stephen
in order to
permanently
silence the truth
that he spoke.
