A mystic seeks no kind of mastery
except the mastery of self.
He seeks no kind of knowledge
except the intuitive knowledge of God
at the depths of his being.
All else is superfluous.
The life of prayer establishes
contact with the source
of all life and with the only
source of authentic peace.
