As soon as Jesus was alone,
His faithful followers,
together with the twelve,
questioned Him about
His teaching in parables.
Using a quote from Isaiah
the prophet, He told them,
"To you has been given
the mystery of
the kingdom of God,
but for those who
are outside,
everything will be
told in parables".
