Loving God, there is so
much that makes us
happy and joyful in life.
We can buy some
things with money,
So much is not to
be paid with any
mount in this world.
The sight of the sunset,
the scent of a rose,
the smile of a child,
the good-night kiss
of a loved one,
who can pay for it?
Good God, we thank you
that we can hear,
see, feel and feel
so often how beautiful life is.
Let us remain attentive
to what good things
you have in store for us.
