The Dance of Siva is
‘Ananda' -‘Siva Ananda'
The unparalleled,
The undefinable,
The highest Bliss!
When Siva dances,
He is in a blissful state of wondrous movements,
He swings and raises his legs into fanciful postures,
He whirls, circles and frolics around like a radiant spirit,
He stamps and taps his foot with tinkling anklets and bells.
When Siva dances with Shakti,
He dances the eternal dance of creation and existence,
He dances like a whirlwind with marvellous techniques,
Enjoying the dance with Shakti - His dynamic energy,
Enthralled! He surrenders Himself to the bliss of Sivananda!
