Peace Planet 2 - I Wish

I wish, I could sit on top of a mountain Where the majestic mountains just stand still, Like Yogis seated in deep meditation, in absolute silence! I wish, I could stand and watch the blue clouds, Not a bit scared, about fighter planes dropping bombs, And turning the pink blue mountains into ghostly silhouettes! I wish, I could go on a boat ride along a cool lake, Not tensed whether I would be attacked by terrorists, Instead, enjoy the serene beauty of a tranquil lake! I wish, I could sit in a garden full of flowers, Where I could breathe the fragrance of the exotic blooms, Instead of inhaling the toxic fumes of war missiles! I wish, I lived in a safe and calm place, Where human beings did not turn into monsters Chasing selfish, evil motives with no care or concern! I wish, I could write beautiful poems, Where my thoughts fly with poetic wings Into valleys of hope, love and peace!
