We Humans, in our roots are taking pride And tell how own country is best at this or that Or how my family was great For whole neighborhood, village, or city. At school, we are taught how other people wanted our land and how our ancestors, to keep it with heroism fought back. Are taught the colors of our flag And own national anthem have to sing Or listen from time to time. And so, most humans, in family, land, And country are taking pride. I don't say it's not right, But sigh, we truly are So much, much more If only we'd be taught From early time How from our head to the toes, Entire body works And how our feet connect to land And how the air connects with our lungs and water in the body with the clouds Will find then, learn, how precious is each life We'll learn to love and take great pride In the roots of oneblade of grass That everywhere will grow the same Not caring of a land's name, or an anthem All blades of grasses are babies of our Earth, the Sun, and Clouds. And just the same, we, humans, are.
