Insect After Insect Fell Into That Pond

Insect after insect fell into that pond
Small in their thousands
And the Medium so!
Then the Ghost Spirits stuck their
Tongues wiry
Out
Hideous
Hiss
And
The vibrating ground
The vibrating waters
Floating -
Floating
Tossed by Shifting
Together rattled
Moving insect feet so many!
Eyes
Seen under the lenses as
Goggles seethe
In hideousness!
