So Many Dusks
E
Emmanuel George Cefai

Altın Yaprak
So many dusks to come
And I
Will not be there to pine.
Passed by the shouting
Motor-car with jazz and
Pop.
The hedgehog will
Surprised
Stop
Before crossing
In Hastings Gardens
To Sappers Street
Beneath the parked cars
And the houses dreaming.
So many a satyr will
Naked play with
The other naked
Satyrs in the bushes
Amongst
The flower beds of night
In Hastings Gardens.
