The Bird Has Stopped Singing

The Bird has stopped singing
For I closed the room windows
And
Now dark in the room
The propensity to sleep
Him overpowers
Like a Pilot on Ship
The Bird still watches
The long horizon before
And the Ship voyaging
In a night over-crowded with stars.
