Verses In My Eye

The verses in my eye
Let them settle
There will a pond
Clean and
Crystalline
White swans
Slow
Sailing on it
And the verses
Will transfer
From eye to tongue
Deepen
Will the verses as
Deepens night
And issue
From the eye that
In turn
Drawsfrom
Heart and brain.
