Who will note
When butterflies lie down and fall
And do not move?
Who has caught
the glow-worms of the night
That most elusive be?
Who has touched
The snowy peaks of mounts
Jutting their fingers to heaven?
Who has touched
The clouds that soar a mile
Above blue Everest?
And who will notice
When the stars start falling down and down
Down Saint Anne’s Way directionless?
Who has seen heaven weep
And felt the scars on its face
And tears trickling, trickling warm?
