A False Impression

A false impression on the voters they make And many of their promises post election they break Few of them as their true selves you ever does see Most politicians are not what they make themselves out to be If the truth does not suit them the truth they will deny Most politicians to a question with another question reply For the sake of power they do readily lie And leave politics on huge pensions financially secure until they die For their privileged job they do draw a huge pay Yet most of them are not honourable in any sort of a way On saying the honest politicians are of the few Is not saying anything in any way that is new Some politicians to their higher selves remain true And great credit to them for this is most certainly due.
