Does The Soul Live On When The Body Does Die

Does the soul live on when the body does die If i told you i knew i would be telling a lie Though many believe post bodily death the souls of the good have wings for to fly To the kingdom of their god way beyond the sky But since to a god in the sky i am not one who believe in to pray In their thinking if they are wrong or right it is not for me to say Though with the freedom of belief i am one who agree And each to their own is how it is with me Such horrible crimes by religious fundamentalists every day we hear of and read And you need not be a religious person a good life for to lead Non religious people who nurture their god of the mind Known to live good lives and are compassionate and kind Only know like all others i am destined for to die This is a fact of life and fact never lie.
