Enjoy Your

Enjoy your youth for you will grow old Of sad people stories are written and told Of how their friends are few and few of them wish to know Lucky are those who have the inner glow Happy people are a pleasure to meet They carry joy with them walking the street And always bring a flutter of happiness to somebody's day That a smile does not cost one only true to say Time does not wait for anyone and it did not wait for me For the sad young person how sad life must be Enjoy your youth if you possibly can For soon you will be an ageing woman or man Time does not wait it keeps ticking away And anyone does not grow younger by the day.
