I Wonder Does The Human Soul Live On

When the last breath of life from the body has gone I wonder does the human soul live on To be born into someone else or go to the Universe up there? A question posed by people everywhere. I only believe in for all a final night and day Call me agnostic or atheist or call me what you may And I've been called worse things than an infidel In this Human World where angels cannot dwell. Millions of people are born and die every year And 'tis only the fear of death that we do fear For death in itself is quite a natural thing It comes to everyone the pauper and the king. Does the soul live after death ask one other than me Since I only believe with my own eyes what I do see On such a subject there's little harmony The World's great thinkers are known to disagree.
