If You Cannot Love Yourself

If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone By those into self loathing bad things are done To other people and to themselves as well Their self loathing has them in their own Earthly Hell The fellow who bashes his children and wife Is one who does lack in self love in his life To karma his will be a huge price to pay Than scorned he is more to be pitied for being this way If you cannot love yourself of love you have none left Of compassion for others you are entirely bereft Those who can love others love in return do win But your gift of love only can come from within If you cannot love yourself you cannot love anyone By those bereft of self love bad things often done.
