Just Your Average Rhymer

I am just your average rhymer a poet i am not And like many others i will be forgot When i have lived my last night and day And in time from me this cannot be far away It is said about poets that their sort are few And this is not saying anything that is new And though i am just one of those who enjoys writing rhyme Many do look on this as a huge waste of time Since for it i never receive any pay And not much recognition in truth i can say But what i enjoy doing why should i give away And i hope to be doing it until my last night and day I have never pretended for to be a poet And as i live i will die as not one of literary note.
