Missed by his friends and neighbours and grieved by his family and his good wife Ann Kevin Cronin gone from Millstreet he was such a decent man A hard working individual one who worked hard every day And to help out other people he often went out of his way Raised his family in Clara View spent his young years in Dooneen A tall man over six foot of sturdy build and lean Born and raised and lived in Millstreet as did Ann Corkery his wife And he always loved his farming for him 'twas his way of life There was much to like about him as I readily can recall And sad to think another good person in Millstreet to the Reaper's scythe did fall In Millstreet he was born and raised and there he grew old and gray And in the Tanyard of his hometown his remains forever lay Hope he did have a good ending that from life his was a painless release Kevin Cronin was a good man may he ever rest in peace
