Kit Cronan a good mother to her children and to her late husband a devoted wife And in truth one can only say about her that she was one who was larger far than life Her biography would rate as a best seller if her life story in book form were told Her wit made her the life of every party and she was one who had a 'heart of gold'. She rode on a Harley when she was in her eighties her photograph in the Melbourne Herald Sun For one her age that was a great achievement though she thought little of what she had done About her she did not have airs and graces so down to earth and one free of conceit She was one of the most amazing people that I have had the privilege to meet. Kit Cronan was a North Melbourne supporter she barracked for the Shinboners win or lose She often sung the famed North Melbourne anthem her loyalties with the footballing Roos 'Tis sad to think that she is gone forever for we will never see her likes again And she is one we always will remember and fond memories of her with us will remain.
