Not Everyone Can Be

Not everyone can be a World Champion and not everyone seen as worthy of note And not everyone can be a renowned novelist and not everyone can be a famous poet And though most do hope that they will become wealthy not everyone becomes a millionaire Amongst the World's billions of people the homeless and the paupers are not rare Us human beings are known to be competitive for success with each other we compete And though only one can be the best in the town the ambitious known to live on every street For every winner there are many losers that's how it is and that's how 'twill always be And not everybody are blessed with life's choices though some with that will even disagree, Some people need success in such a bad way that they slowly become addicted to greed A million a year profit for them not enough of money the more they have the more they seem to need Why this should be you need not have to wonder we are driven by the desire to succeed A book on homeless people never becomes a best seller stories of the have nots few do wish to read Not everybody born to be successful though to be a failure none would wish to choose The winner is the one who takes the glory but for one to win so many have to lose.
