One Must

The financially and materially wealthy many people impress And are widely lauded as a great success But why they are admired one must wonder why Since the Earth that feeds us all they try to destroy They dig huge holes in Nature's soul Mining for the Earth's resources is out of control Most of us humans do not seem to care For the Earth that creates every billionaire Many who grow very wealthy from abusing our Earth Mother millions of people admire And of singing their praises never seem to tire It does not seem in any way right to me And i do wonder why that this should be Why so many admire them one must wonder why Since the Earth that feeds us they try to destroy.
