She Called Me A Spoilsport

She called me a spoilsport suppose she was right Unlike her I could not dance well into the night Yet she is a person much older than me That age is a relative thing would you not agree. I felt like a spoilsport I could not dance on After a few dances my energy gone But she went on dancing she danced gracefully A wonderful dancer so lovely to see. In her mid to late sixties like a young athlete She went dancing on the one with dancing feet Four to five years older than I but to dance I felt too tired But she kept dancing on like a woman inspired. That she called me a spoilsport seems only too true And I give her credit the credit she is due With many half of her age she danced around the floor Without stopping for a rest for two hours or more.
