The Family Man

He does not yearn for to be the toast of the town Or he has never daydreamed of widespread renown Quite happy with his lot his type becoming rare Down to earth and unassuming and so self aware To live a decent life he does the best he can Devoted to his wife and three young children the family man Negative things of others you never hear him say And to help those in need of help he goes out of his way One not seen very often in the local pub Or not a member of any social grouping or any sporting club Though not hard to like he is not that well known Yet as a person in a class of his own He rises for work before dawn every working day And he surely does work hard for his take home pay.
