The Lessons They Taught Me

From my life I was happy for to see them go The people I wish I never got to know And though some of our mistakes we repeat again The lessons they taught me with me will remain Till the Reaper will come and claim the life from me On some future date whenever that will be Our dealings with some we may live to regret But lessons learned from them we should never forget People come to our lives for a reason 'tis said And friendships lost to mistrust are forever dead And some friendships forged remain till life's end Your bond of friendship is strong with a trusted friend But many friendships are not meant for to last We live in the now and we learn from the past.
