We Cannot Feel

We cannot feel the unhappiness or the pain felt by others with them we can only sympathize A huge sadness to one not so to another we look at life through different eyes How can I understand what others are going through their feelings are different to mine Our ideas of life very different we vary like the taste of wine If we all thought the same way we'd be boring how very boring we would be Our different ideas on life makes us interesting at least that's how it does seem to me We cannot feel exactly how others are feeling human beings are not created that way With some of the words of some we may be in agreement but not with everything they do say In our ways we are individuals though with some others on some things we agree But mostly we are very different and we look at life quite differently As human beings we are very complex even in the most creative mind the flaws that define us as human you are almost certain to find We cannot feel how others are feeling though for them we can feel joy or sympathy And lucky are they very lucky who have been blessed with the gift of empathy.
