You Cannot Win Them All When All Is Said And Done

You may be the nicest person in the town But there's always one who will try to put you down Which just goes to prove you won't please everyone You cannot win them all when all is said and done. For to help others out you go out of your way And you do a good deed or sometimes two every day Do jobs for poor people without asking for pay Though not everyone kind things of you will say. You may be the most helpful person in your street Down to earth and and kind of heart and a pleasure to meet Your compassion and kindness many may recall But you will have your knockers you cannot win them all Some well may describe you as a living saint But not everyone sees you as one free of taint To win everyone's seems an impossible thing And not everybody your praises will sing.
