E M P A T H... (Rv-Rp) - Poem by Frank James Ryan Jr (FjR)
Empath may obscure the finality,
as inveterated passion for the sick
burns the soul of the ones who possess
this mystical gift of infused sensitivity,
like a vile of salt in a large gaping wound.
And if the sick should die, the Empath knows
the wound, as does life...will pass and close,
yet, not before bleeding for a very long time.
