କବିତା।
ଜାଣେ ନା
କବିତା ପାରେ
କି ନ ପାରେ
ଦେଇ ଜୀବନ
ମରି ମରି ଯାଉଥିବା
ରାସ୍ତାର ଯେ କୌଣସି
ଗୋଟିଏ ଜୀବକୁ।
ଜାଣେ ନା
ଜୀବଟିଏ କରେ କଣ
ଏତେସେତେ ଥାଇ ବି ପାଖରେ।
English rendering;
I know not
Whether a committed man
Can able to write
Poems or not.
I know not
Whether a poem can
Gives life to a man
Of the street
Who is dying.
I know not
What a creature does,
So much with it, though.
