An aged woman
Named Rupabati
Died in hunger.
And is the main news
Of today in all local dailies.
I am not making jokes, sir?
You know, I am not
Inlcined to jokes.
Excuse me, this is
The fact and picture
Of today in our area.
No food, no water
And people are dying
Like any other creatures.
